Project SINAG is a two-year research project under the Joint Research Project between the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)..

THE TEAM

The Full Research Team comprises of Outsolar, SolarPot, and Administrative staff of the project.

RESEARCH COMPONENTS

OUTSOLAR

The OutSolar component will be developing a locally-adapted forecasting model that will accurately and realistically predict the output power of solar PV installations in the Philippines.

SOLARPOT

The SolarPot component will focus on assessing the available solar PV resource potential in the Philippines.

WEBGIS

A WebGIS will host the outputs from SolarPot and OutSolar components. Interested individuals and relevant stakeholders of solar PV systems can view these outputs online as digital maps.
