WEBGIS

Project SINAG aims to develop a web-based Geographical Information System (webGIS). SINAG's webGIS will host the outputs from SolarPot and OutSolar components so that interested individuals and stakeholders of solar PV systems can view these outputs online as digital maps. It is very useful for different applications, which may include, but are not limited to, deciding whether or not a particular location is a good site for solar PV installation.

WebGIS provides a framework for sharing and using maps, apps, spatial data, and geographic processing operations throughout one’s network and beyond the web ecosystem.

WEBGIS SERVER DEVELOPMENT

Implementing a WebGIS relies on the client or server model. The whole system is broken down into client-side and server-side, where the database functions as the storage of all the data.
