Project SINAG Presents at the

Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS) 2023

in Taipei, Taiwan

The Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS) has successfully concluded its highly anticipated event, which started from October 30 to November 3, 2023, and was held at TaiNEX2, Taipei, Taiwan! 🚀🔭

ACRS2023, hosted by the Chinese (Taipei) Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, National Central University, and the Asian Association on Remote Sensing, brought together researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts from around the world. It provided a platform for sharing knowledge, insights, and advancements in remote sensing. 📚💡

Project SINAG, led by Dr. Jeark A. Principe, together with Engr. Marielle E. Sotto (Project Technical Specialist) and Engr. Jessa A. Ibañez (MS Graduate Fellow), actively participated in ACRS2023. Dr. Jeark also presented their paper "Assessment of Potential Solar PV Output Derived From Remotely-Sensed Solar Irradiance Data and Different Tilt Angles." This paper showcased the effect of solar panel tilt angles on solar PV output.

ACRS2023 also witnessed an overwhelming response, with 810 registrations and 414 submitted papers/abstracts. The Philippines also had a strong presence, with 30 participants and winning a gold medal during the cultural night performance competition. 🇵🇭🥇
